Interdimensional Wizard Coalition

A game primarily about wizards, but also about how they commune and work together in a place called Wizard City.

Wizard City

The magic behind Wizard City's existence is seriously weird. It's hard to explain, but it goes something like this: Wizard city is exists in a pocket dimension that was somehow disconnected from its original reality, but still accessible from every possible universe- so it technically exists and you can go there, but it has no physical location? Anyway, it was created by the High Mages a few thousand years ago.

Socerers, witches, mages, wizards, everyone is welcome if they can get there. The barrier to entry is simply finding it. While you are there, you will find many amenities and points of interest to visit. WC is also home to the "Dimensional Exchange", which is a marketplace available to every possible reality. Here are some other places to visit:

  • Mage Academy - Where you can find new spells and publish your research
  • The Infininn - A hotel with infinite rooms.
  • The DWA - (Department of Wizarding Affairs) for paperwork and stuff
  • Guild Street - A row of guild halls owned by players
  • Perhaps the most important location in Wizard City are the gates. Through these massive portals payed for by the government, you are able to teleport to any dimension in the multiverse and return for free. This is pretty much how everyone gets their business done. You can go to specific places too, like dungeon entrances or certain biomes.

    How Spells Work

Wizards cast spells, duh. But how many spells are there? A really big number of them. This is because spells are created by combining basic chants together in your spellbook, like "Pila" and "Ignis". When you say these two words, a magical reaction happens and a ball is created, then a fire affect is attached to it. Saying "Velox Maximius" after will send the fireball flying in front of you. These are just three chants, but there are lots more, and the number of possible combinations is exponential.

In your research, if you create a spell that has never been cast before, you can publish your findings in the Mage Academy. From here you can name it, and write. a description of what it does, so that anyone who looks it up knows how it works. Popular spells are published in the magazine "Wizardy Weekly", so if everyone likes your spell you might become famous!

Magic ain't free, it costs essense. You can get essense from various places around, like killing creatures. There are currently five known essense types:

  • Matter
  • Force
  • Alteration
  • Chaos
  • Time
  • Time essense is the hardest one to get, and also the strangest out of all of them. Obviously, it's used for bending time. Many spell creators use it to speed up the time it takes to cast a spell, especially if it's like a paragraph long.
